Welcome to our place on the web. Aurora Youth Ministries is a group of teens (7th-12th grade) and adults who want to know more about God and each other! We want to make the world a better place and shatter the stereotype that church is boring. Food, games, music, videos, stories, and relevant teaching from the Bible make this a meaningful and fun experience you won’t wanna miss!

We’ve designed our times together with you in mind. Whether you know God personally, or are curious about faith in God, our ministry is a place where you’ll feel at home. Come build relationships, laugh, and learn more about a God that loves you and has awesome plans for your life! We hope to see you soon.

Aurora Youth Ministries is an externally focused, family supported ministry of Colorado Community Church. We seek to connect youth to Christ, to community, and to their calling.

Holistic: We believe that all areas of life are spiritually connected (mind, body, and soul). Therefore, we seek to live holistically, allowing God to permeate every aspect of our lives.

Community: We believe that God created people to be in relationship with others. Therefore, we cultivate opportunities to develop meaningful relationships and share life together in community.

Discipleship: We believe that God has called us to intimately know Him, passionately follow Him, and radically assist Him in the faith journey of others. Therefore, we pursue and call others to a faith that is lived out with our heads, hearts, and hands.

Diversity: We believe that all people are created in the image of God and have incredible worth. Therefore, we welcome, affirm, and celebrate people from all walks of life, regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, economic status, or where they are in their spiritual journey.

Missional: We believe that God intended the church to be more than a building but to be a body of people sent on mission—to serve, sacrifice, and love others. Therefore, we urge those in our ministry to spend themselves in compassionate, difference-making action as a way of life.

Empowering: We believe that every person has a significant role to play in God’s work on earth. Therefore, we identify, inspire, and develop people who will revolutionize their communities with their unique passions and gifting.

Participatory: We believe that God has designed us to be more than spectators but contributors to our gatherings. Therefore, we seek to create an atmosphere that fosters spiritual growth where people participate and are included in the shaping of our ministry.

Celebratory: We believe that following Christ is not just about rules and behavior, but more about celebrating who God is and His involvement in our lives. Therefore, we take our fun seriously and find joy in the work of the Holy Spirit.

Organic: We believe that spiritual health cannot be forced or reduced to a formula. Therefore, we create environments for natural spiritual growth--where people feel safe and comfortable as they pursue God at their own pace.
